Today we learned how to explain our evidence. We went over this simulated court case on the promethean board  and it taught us that even if you do have evidence you would need to explain it. Then we went over a couple of articles on gun violence in Atlanta. Then after that we looked at how gun violence in Atlanta should be stopped. With my knowledge on explaining evidence i explained my evidence proficiently.

  We didnt really learned anything. We did bookwork. We wrote down words and definitions. Nothing really special. Class was boring so I went to sleep.

  Today we talked more about of ethos, logos, and pathos. We did a little assignment about it and then looked at commercials. For the commercials we guessed if they were ethos, logos, and pathos. We took more notes about it and i feel like i can put all three into a paper. I honestly am scared for our first essay assignment.

  We went over some old stuff and new stuff. We re learned ethos, logos,and pathos, something we already learned in middle school. We then learned something new. We learned different types of claims. We learned three call claim of value, fact ,and policy. Pretty cool stuff to learn as we learn to make a argumentive essay. Overall a good day 

 I did not attend class today.

 Today we learned more about writing. We practiced free writing and listing. I like listing better than free writing because Sometimes I know nothing about the topic which makes it hard for me to write. We also went over our classmates job paragraphs. It was helpful to see the mistakes others made so I can know not to make them 

 In the video there is a girl who goes to a school where everyone wears a mask on their face. The video starts off in reverse. The girl seems to be having a panic attack . Later in the video her masks breaks and she finally takes it off she realizes she does not need it. I think the video is trying to teach us to be ourselves. Once we stop hiding behind a mask and be true to ourselves we can find who we are .

 In class today we took notes on body Body paragraphs. Mr. Rease taught us to cut them into 7 sentences and that our subtopics from the cluster chart are each a paragraph. After , we did a writing practice to help with creating  our body paragraphs.  We used the our cluster chart to create it. This was really helpful and could help me in the future with creating body paragraphs.

 

 Today in class we learned about the writing process. We learned five steps to help when writing. The steps are prewriting , drafting, revising, editing, and presenting. I took notes on it so that i can use it later on. We then learned about brainstorming with clustering. We made a bubble map to help us with cluster.

 I think the purpose of life is to have fun and enjoy your time with the ones you love., I also think the purpose of life is to live it to the full extent. In life you do not have a definite amount of time. Not knowing when it is your time to is a reason to just go live and experience things that you wouldn't have never seen yourself doing. With that you should always do it with the ones close to you.

   Today we didn't do nothing in 1st period but watch a movie. In second period we took a benchmark so we also didn’t do much in there. In third period we took notes and did some questions about it. I had to stay  after school to make up my test

The best advice I have ever received from my mother/ guardian was "whenever you make your own money you can do whatever you want with it as long as you are smart with it ". That means when you make money you don't have to ask for someone else approval to spend it , but you should never just spend it all . You should always save and stack some so that you never go broke. My mema first told me this when I was 12 years old , I had just started making my own money and I asked her if i could buy a pair of shoes and that is when she told me.

 my name is Marcus Nowlin jr.  After high school I  plan to pursue being a sports manager, become a full time Youtuber, or a barber.  My hobbies are playing basketball, making Youtube videos and learning how to cut hair. My top 3 artists are Lil baby , Young Thug , and Rylo Rodriguez. My favorite foods are cereal and ice cream.  I want to visit Yew York and visit some historical landmarks in basketball suck as Rucker park and Dyckman.
