The best advice I have ever received from my mother/ guardian was "whenever you make your own money you can do whatever you want with it as long as you are smart with it ". That means when you make money you don't have to ask for someone else approval to spend it , but you should never just spend it all . You should always save and stack some so that you never go broke.
